General Sales Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a General Sales Manager to become part of the management team at our Audi dealership located in Worcester. This role demands a proactive leader who can motivate a growing sales team and meet defined sales targets for both new and used vehicles while following financial and operational guidelines.

Working Hours

Monday through Saturday with one weekday off; working on Sundays as part of a rotating schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Foster trust and communication to surpass customer expectations, ensuring an exceptional buying experience. Manage customer queries and complaints effectively.
• Assist the sales team with daily activities such as customer engagement, managing the sales pipeline, deal negotiation and closure, and vehicle preparation, while maintaining agreed stock levels.
• Drive the sales process to help the team achieve monthly KPIs including unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration, and ancillary product sales, ensuring budgets and profit forecasts are met.
• Ensure all sales documentation is accurately completed and deliver timely reports on sales activities and forecasts.
• Guarantee rigorous collection and management of customer and vehicle data to maximize database quality and comply with FCA regulations.

• Experienced sales manager, sales controller, or retail manager seeking fresh challenges and improved career prospects.
• Demonstrates the ambition and talent needed to advance the department and achieve brand standards and KPIs.
• Proven successful history of delivering profitable results and excellent customer satisfaction.
• Strong leadership and management capabilities, driven mindset, and a passion for the automotive brand.
• Experience in the motor trade, automotive sector, or car dealerships is beneficial but not mandatory due to comprehensive training provided.
