Employment Details

• Position offers permanent, full-time employment.
• Work schedule includes 44 hours per week with some rotating weekend shifts.
• Potential for overtime pay beyond 44 hours.
• Hourly wage starts at $25.75 plus applicable overtime.
• Group insurance eligible after 3 months with the company.
• Optional Group RRSP enrollment available after 6 months.
• Provision of workwear and boots after 3 months.

Role Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and organize various ferrous metals.
• Manage truck weigh-ins using the RECY system for accurate material tracking.
• Perform general maintenance around the premises to keep the facility in good condition.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and operational.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to on-site clients.
• Operate a forklift when necessary.
• Adopt and maintain a strong safety-focused attitude at all times.

Candidate Requirements

• Proficient computer skills.
• Experience operating cranes.
• Previous experience in metal recycling is advantageous.
• Capability to work in all weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
• Good physical condition to handle job demands.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
