Full Time Instructor - Practical Nursing Program (Leave Replacement) in Saskatoon

About the Role

The Gabriel Dumont Institute's Dumont Technical Institute invites applications for a full-time instructor position in the Practical Nursing Program on a leave replacement basis located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The instructor will teach theoretical, practical, and clinical components of the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Practical Nursing program.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver practical nursing education including theory and clinical instruction aligned with the Saskatchewan Polytechnic curriculum.
• Provide program support for adult learners in long-term and acute care environments.
• Plan and conduct nursing skills courses and assist with laboratory instruction.
• Participate in scheduled meetings and complete additional duties as assigned.

Candidate Qualifications

• Registered Nurse holding a Nursing Degree.
• Eligible for active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
• Current certifications including Therapeutic License Renewal (TLR), First Aid, CPR, etc.
• Subject to approval by Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
• Strong skills in communication, interpersonal relations, and problem solving.
• Preferably two years of recent acute care experience.

Additional Details

• Location: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
• Contract Term: Fall 2026 through November 2027.
• Salary Range: $72,038 to $94,798 annually based on GDI Faculty 2 pay grid.
