About the Role

Join Changi Digital Factory at Changi Airport Group and play a key role in advancing the digital transformation initiatives. As a member of an agile, cross-functional team, you will be instrumental in designing and developing innovative digital products and AI-powered solutions that enhance airport operations and commercial functionalities.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and sustain full stack web applications using up-to-date technologies.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to boost coding productivity and maintain code quality.
• Build backend services, RESTful APIs, seamless user interfaces, and integrate with both internal and external systems.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, UX designers, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and manage cloud-native applications hosted on AWS.
• Implement AI-driven features using Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI agents where suitable.
• Assess AI-generated outputs to enhance solution precision and improve user experience.
• Diagnose and resolve application issues ensuring solutions are robust and scalable.
• Engage actively in agile delivery cycles and knowledge sharing sessions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Approximately 1 to 3 years of experience in comprehensive full stack application development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript programming languages.
• Experience working with React or Next.js frameworks.
• Fundamental knowledge of backend systems, RESTful API design, and relational or NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on exposure to AWS services; familiarity with Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, Cognito, SNS, SQS, Bedrock, or AgentCore is a plus.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code tools like AWS CDK or Terraform and continuous integration/continuous deployment tools such as Git and GitHub Actions is advantageous.
• Basic awareness of generative AI technologies including prompt engineering, LLM integration, AI agents, Retrieval Augmented Generation, tool integrations, and evaluation techniques.
• Knowledge of AI-focused software engineering practices, including grounding, validation mechanisms, guardrails, monitoring/observability, and human-in-the-loop workflows adds value.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and effective communication paired with a team-oriented mindset.
• Enthusiastic about adopting new technologies and versatile between AI-centered projects and general software development tasks.
