Key Responsibilities

• Develop precise and competitive pricing for air, sea, and road freight services.
• Create customer quotations balancing commercial profitability with top-notch service.
• Handle requests for quotations (RFQs) and tender responses punctually and to high standards.
• Collaborate with international offices, shipping lines, airlines, and transport providers to secure advantageous rates.
• Cultivate strong partnerships with sales teams to aid business expansion and client loyalty.
• Analyze market trends, carrier pricing, and competitive activity to optimize commercial positioning.
• Maintain pricing data and quote documentation within CargoWise and other systems.
• Advance pricing procedures and commercial performance through continuous improvement efforts.
• Deliver superior customer service with prompt, customized logistic solutions.

Candidate Profile

• A minimum of two years’ experience in freight forwarding pricing or commercial roles.
• Solid knowledge of international freight forwarding operations spanning ocean, air, and road transport.
• Proficiency in producing quotations, managing tender processes, and evaluating freight rates.
• Familiarity with CargoWise or similar freight forwarding software solutions.
• Strong analytical capabilities paired with keen commercial insight.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to commute and work on a hybrid schedule in Solihull (2-3 days onsite weekly).

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary ranging from 35,000 to 40,000 per annum.
