About the Role
Join our dynamic Christchurch team at Team Global Express NZ as a Freight Operator, where you'll play an essential part in connecting communities and supporting New Zealand's eCommerce and logistics networks. This role involves hands-on physical work in a fast-paced environment focused on loading, unloading, and processing freight efficiently to ensure smooth transport operations across the country.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload freight for road and rail transport units.
- Use on-time scanning technology to accurately track and sort freight to meet branch operational goals.
- Operate handling equipment with proficiency and comply with safety standards.
- Maintain positive working relationships and communicate effectively within the team.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a clean New Zealand Full Class 1 Driver’s License is mandatory.
- Forklift License along with OSH certification required.
- Dangerous Goods Endorsement is preferred.
- A customer-oriented approach with strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Additional Information
The shift pattern is Monday to Friday from 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Team Global Express NZ requires pre-employment checks including criminal history, drug and alcohol testing, and medical assessments pertinent to safety-critical roles. The workplace enforces a strict alcohol and drug-free policy. Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand immediately.
