Company Overview

Our client is an AI native startup at Series A stage with approximately 15 employees. They are developing an operating system tailored for a large, underserved blue collar sector that has seen minimal innovation from modern software. Their platform is actively used by hundreds of operators across more than 40 states, leveraging AI agents to perform real work in the field, at service points, and via telephone communication.

About the Role

This opportunity is for a mid-level Product Manager with at least three years of experience, ideally someone who is an AI native builder. The role involves direct customer engagement, rapid prototyping using AI technology, and delivering product features without relying solely on engineering. The candidate should be comfortable interacting with blue collar users such as truck drivers, business owners, and field crews, and flourish in a fast-paced, resource-limited startup environment. Experience in logistics, field services, or vertical SaaS is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of a product domain—either sales and marketing tools or financial solutions—from initial customer discovery through to launch.
• Engage directly with customers to uncover challenges, workflows, and growth opportunities.
• Develop functional prototypes using AI-driven tools that bring products close to completion, allowing engineers to finalize the last stages.
• Maintain and evolve the product vision while balancing pragmatic trade-offs daily.
• Become the internal expert on the assigned product area.
• Deliver solutions quickly with continuous iterations, eliminating lengthy documentation cycles and handoffs.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years’ product management experience at early-stage startups.
• Proficiency with AI prototyping tools such as Cursor, Claude, GPT, and Replit Agent to build working products rather than mere mockups.
• Strong skills in customer discovery and ease working with non-technical blue collar end users.
• A preference for rapid shipping over process-heavy procedures; comfortable without extensive PRD cycles or handoffs.
• Ability to excel in an early-stage, resource-constrained, and dynamic environment.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual base salary ranging from $150,000 to $220,000, commensurate with experience.
