Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Foreman to join our Central team on a landmark project in Hamilton. This role is suitable for candidates with a solid commercial construction background, preferably with experience as a Lead Carpenter or Foreman. The successful applicant will contribute significantly to project delivery, ensuring excellence in execution and fostering career development.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
- Lead and manage site teams effectively to deliver projects within budgets ranging from $5 million to $50 million.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of construction methods and industry legislation to maintain compliance and optimize work processes.
- Demonstrate strong planning capabilities to adhere to project schedules.
- Maintain a proactive approach to Health & Safety, ensuring policies and procedures are strictly enforced on site.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with multiple stakeholders through effective leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
Candidate Profile
- 2 to 4 years of Foreman experience, ideally with a reputed main contractor.
- Proven ability to oversee sizable commercial projects successfully.
- Sound understanding of relevant legal and compliance frameworks.
- Passion for workplace safety and leadership excellence.
- Relevant trade or tertiary qualifications are an advantage but not mandatory.
