Role Overview
This position entails executing floor care cleaning, window washing, and general janitorial duties aligned with the company and client standards and values. Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality workmanship efficiently, adhering strictly to punctuality, safety protocols, and procedural compliance, as well as maintaining floor care equipment and ensuring thorough completion of assignments for customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to all client and Servicon safety policies, fostering a safety-first culture and consistently using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during tasks.
- Demonstrate expertise in various floor care operations such as stripping and refinishing hard surface floors, carpet extraction and care, and handling specialized floor care machinery.
- Complete work tasks as instructed, following Servicon’s floor care procedures and guidelines.
- Conduct thorough inspections of work areas during and after assignments to ensure compliance with site protocols and client Scope of Work requirements.
- Maintain adequate stock of supplies, ensure equipment cleanliness and functionality, and promptly report any equipment issues.
- Track and manage inventory and equipment usage, providing updates and feedback to management to maintain cost-efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
- A minimum of one year of experience as a floor technician is desirable.
- Possession of a valid driver's license is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of floor care products and techniques.
- Experience working with various hard floor surfaces including marble, granite, and VCT.
- Familiarity with carpet cleaning methods such as shampooing, extracting, and bonnet cleaning.
- Capability to carry out window cleaning and power washing tasks.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; Spanish language ability is an advantage.
- Strong skills in planning, scheduling, problem-solving, time management, and organization including task prioritization, delegation, and follow-up.
