Role Overview

Jovie is looking to add an experienced, warm, and energetic nanny to support different families in Irvine, CA. The role focuses on caring for infants and toddlers while parents are at work. Most placements take place Monday through Friday during standard daytime hours. This opportunity is best suited to someone who enjoys building positive relationships with children and families and brings strong communication skills, a friendly attitude, and prior childcare experience.

Pay Details

• Base pay is $20 to $22 per hour.
• Overtime is paid at $30 to $33 per hour.
• Extra hours are compensated at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate.

What You’ll Do

You will provide attentive, engaging childcare in families’ homes. The work includes playful, age-appropriate interaction and supporting children through daily routines in a safe, active setting.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, communicates well with parents and teammates, and can reliably commit to multiple days each week. Experience with infants is required, along with dependable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Eligibility and Schedule

• Must be available at least five days per week.
• Shifts run 6 to 9 hours and fall between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• At least 1 year of hands-on infant care experience is required.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are necessary to travel to assignments.
• Three references are required: two related to work with children, paid or unpaid, and one character reference.
