About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on and relationship-oriented Fleet Compliance Manager to join our high-performing SouthRoads team in Invercargill, Southland. This position offers real responsibility from day one, partnering with business managers to ensure that our vehicles, personnel, and systems remain safe, compliant, and efficient.
You don't have to have prior fleet compliance experience, as training and support will be provided. Our focus is on your ability to confidently navigate systems, follow processes, build trustworthy relationships, and positively influence others.

Key Responsibilities
- Take leadership for fleet compliance covering servicing, Warrant of Fitness (WOF), Certificate of Fitness (COF), Road User Charges (RUC), and vehicle safety standards.
- Oversee telematics systems, driver event management, logbooks, and compliance documentation.
- Create and analyze fleet performance insights, including driver scorecards and utilization reports.
- Assist managers in enhancing driver behavior to reduce risks.
- Manage certification, calibration, and compliance frameworks.
- Lead initiatives to improve business systems, compliance adherence, and operational effectiveness.
- Contribute to environmental projects aimed at lowering the fleet's carbon emissions.

Your background could be from compliance, health and safety, quality assurance, transport, logistics, operations, or other process-focused industries.
