About the Role

Join Star Construction LLC as a Flagger, playing a crucial role in managing traffic flow safely around active construction zones in public areas. This position requires directing vehicles and pedestrians with hand signals and equipment to ensure safety and smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and control traffic near work sites using hand signs and paddles.
• Set up and prepare safety flags, cones, signs, and markers.
• Assist with basic construction tasks under the guidance of a Foreman or Supervisor.
• Operate company vehicles safely while adhering to all driving policies.
• Comply with relevant Department of Transportation regulations at the local, state, and federal levels.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform duties in a variety of weather conditions.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States for Star Construction LLC.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Valid non-provisional state driver's license with a good driving record.
• Prior experience as a flagger is favorable but not mandatory.

Physical Demands

• Frequently works independently in remote areas.
• Must be capable of operating vehicles, bending, stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs.
• Able to lift between 10 to 25 pounds regularly; occasionally lift 26 to 55 pounds.
• Requires fine motor skills including keyboard and mouse use.
