Role Overview

The Fitout Lead role, based full-time on-site in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, entails comprehensive oversight of interior fitout works from initial planning stages through to project handover. This role involves coordinating design intents with execution on-site, overseeing contractors and suppliers, ensuring all materials and finishes adhere to quality, safety, and sustainability standards, and maintaining alignment with project timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to guide fitout activities and resolve onsite technical challenges.
• Conduct regular site inspections and lead coordination meetings involving project managers, designers, and client representatives.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and onsite personnel to maintain smooth project progress.
• Prepare detailed progress reports and ensure timely documentation of site activities, material approvals, and changes.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with local building regulations, health and safety standards, and company quality policies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in fitout procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Proven background in interior fitout, construction management, or site supervision of commercial, industrial, or institutional projects.
• Strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, and coordination across multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to interpret complex architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for practical fitout execution.
• Knowledge of local Saudi building codes, quality control measures, and health and safety requirements.
• Competency in project paperwork including progress reporting and material compliance documentation.
• Effective communicator capable of collaborating in diverse, multicultural teams and liaising with clients and consultants.
• Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset focused on timely, budget-compliant project completion.
• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in civil engineering, architecture, interior design, or a related discipline; relevant equivalent experience considered.
• Previous involvement in fitout projects within the Gulf region or Saudi Arabia is advantageous.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are beneficial.
