Fitness Manager

Role Overview

In this position, you will oversee gym fitness operations, coordinate and support trainers, uphold service quality, and contribute to growth in personal training revenue. The role also involves keeping the facility in strong working condition and fostering a welcoming, energetic atmosphere for members and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Stay in regular contact with the Format and Operations team regarding training experience and personal training revenue performance.
• Track and work toward monthly targets covering training PR, PT PR, PT session completion rate, PT renewal rate, PT SOP completion rate, trial-to-pack conversion, lead generation, goal completion, and overall PT revenue.
• Ensure personal trainers and general trainers follow all training and workflow SOPs, including leave planning and shift scheduling when needed.
• Make sure members have enough support on the gym floor to receive a safe and effective training experience.
• Support the rollout of new products and experience features in the gym while gathering useful feedback and insights from members and trainers.
• Take ownership of facility operations and address maintenance needs promptly to keep the gym functioning properly.
• Work to meet monthly personal training business targets consistently.
• Deliver a strong personal training experience by maintaining benchmark PR, pack completion percentage, and goal achievement rates.

Requirements

• Certification from an internationally recognized fitness body is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in training delivery is required.
• Strong drive, interpersonal abilities, and communication skills are essential.
• Current CPR/AED certification is mandatory.
• Experience leading a team, along with basic administrative capability, is needed.
• Comfort using Google Sheets and Google Docs is expected.

Additional Details

The role requires hands-on ownership of fitness operations, trainer coordination, member experience, and facility upkeep. It is also focused on improving training quality, revenue performance, and adoption of new gym experiences.
