Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Firefighters to join a well-regarded Facility Management project based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This role requires individuals with a diploma or equivalent qualification in firefighting and 1-2 years of experience. The position focuses on fire suppression, emergency medical response, hazardous material handling, rescue operations, and fire prevention education within a dynamic working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and effectively to fire emergencies and other related incidents.
- Handle hazardous materials safely and perform rescues as required during emergencies.
- Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and operate self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) competently.
- Participate in fire prevention education and maintain physical readiness for demanding situations.
- Collaborate closely with team members ensuring seamless coordination during crisis situations.
Requirements
- A diploma or equivalent in firefighting is preferred.
- Minimum of one year of hands-on firefighting experience.
- Must hold valid certifications such as NFPA, emergency response, rescue operations, disaster management, first aid, and CPR from recognized firefighting or civil defense institutions.
- Ability to understand and apply firefighting methods and safety protocols effectively.
- Physical fitness suitable for the demands of the job; preferred age below 30 years.
- Religion criterion: Only Muslim candidates will be considered.
Terms and Conditions
- Job location is Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
- Work schedule consists of six days per week, with daily shifts of 8 hours plus an additional 4 hours.
- Overtime may be required seasonally based on mutual agreement.
- Public holidays are fully paid.
- Employees receive 30 calendar days annual vacation plus an additional 15 complimentary calendar days.
- Medical insurance coverage is provided (Class B).
- One annual economy class round-trip ticket is provided.
- No food allowance is given; temporary accommodation offered for 7-14 days upon arrival.
