Job Overview

The Financial Controller & Reporting Manager is tasked with providing precise and punctual consolidated financial data and analyses that facilitate informed decision-making and align with the strategic goals of the company. This role oversees the design, execution, and maintenance of integrated and accurate accounting systems vital for financial reporting and audit compliance. Collaborating closely with the CFO, the manager leads the corporate accounting and cost controlling teams, ensuring finance policies and procedures are relevant and undergo regular review.

Main Responsibilities

• Aggregate financial data from all company divisions to form comprehensive corporate reports, covering profit and loss, cash flow, and balance sheet impacts.
• Engage in planning and strategy development with business units, offering financial guidance to support decision-making processes.
• Collect and analyze data from diverse sources to detect trends, extract actionable insights, and effectively present findings.
• Utilize a strong foundation in finance and accounting principles combined with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing activities.
• Create management reports in partnership with business and finance teams.
• Ensure the delivery of accurate and timely financial and business reports to all operational units to enhance transparency and performance monitoring.
• Produce precise reports featuring financial and operational data, including variance analyses with explanations of identified trends and underlying causes.
• Track operational metrics and financial trends, promptly addressing any deviations by notifying stakeholders.
• Keep abreast of market developments, including macroeconomic conditions and competitor activities.
• Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and explain execution variances, fostering valuable business partnerships.
• Leverage ERP and business intelligence tools to improve data integrity and accessibility.
• Promote ongoing enhancements in financial processes, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting.
• Manage the automation of reporting and analytic tasks to optimize decision-support workflows.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Mandatory professional accounting certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CA.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial roles, including 3 to 5 years in leadership or financial control positions.
• Comprehensive understanding of IFRS standards and local taxation laws and compliance requirements.
• Strong expertise with ERP systems, particularly Oracle Fusion.
• Proficiency in data management and analytics.
