Financial Analyst – Workflow Documentation

Position Overview

This contract role requires a Workflow Annotator specializing in finance and data analysis, working remotely with flexible weekly hours ranging from 10 to 40.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and thoroughly document complex, multi-step workflows related to financial planning and analysis and data processes.
• Implement these workflows using platforms such as Snowflake and Excel, ensuring every procedural step and decision point is captured in detail.
• Utilize collaboration tools, including Slack, to facilitate coordination and gather feedback efficiently.
• Deliver extensive documentation composed of detailed instructions complemented by visual aids like screenshots.
• Detect unclear or ambiguous instances within workflows and refine documentation based on feedback to ensure precision.
• Maintain stringent data protection and confidentiality standards throughout all documentation activities.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, financial analytics or data analysis roles.
• Proficiency in composing strong SQL queries suited for reporting and data examination.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in workflow development and documentation.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex procedural information clearly.
• Familiarity with collaboration software such as Slack, Microsoft 365, or Google Workspace.
