MANTECH is seeking a motivated, customer-oriented Finance Manager to help support our current Marine Corps Systems Command Contract in Stafford, VA. The successful candidate will work directly with the Account Owner and Program Management Office to ensure accurate, timely, and comprehensive financial execution of Department of Defense-based contracts to support multiple delivery vehicles in a fast-paced and operationally complex account.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Provide programmatic and analytical support for the Program Management Office overseeing a Department of Defense contract in direct support of the United States Marine Corps.Analyze the overall program and its constituent elements to assess current and emerging financial requirements. Track program process and control to baseline and maintain cost, schedule, performance and risk metrics as they pertain to established objectives.Provide financial management expertise as well as development/maintenance of industry documentation and accounting artifacts, presentation/briefing materials, coordination and action item tracking, and general day-to-day support of programmatic activities.Develop and maintain spending plans and manage the financial execution of various contract types, to include Firm Fix Price, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Cost Plus Award Fee, Time and Materials, and Managed Services contracts and track all execution metrics.Develop detailed pricing proposals, rough orders of magnitude, and myriad other finance-related responses to government and MANTECH leadership requests for information.Prepare monthly financial reports, detailing month end close results (i.e., comparisons of actual results versus budgeted and forecasted for Revenue, Profit, Days of Sales (DSO), and Indirect Rates) for contract deliverables and Program Manager review.Assist in acquisitions, training PCAs and data entry.Assist with all PeopleSoft and Costpoint upgrades, development, testing, and execution.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of experience in DoD financial / budget analysis. Additional 2 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. Must have expertise in developing and managing Excel-based workbooks that account for, track, and maintain funding, budgeting, and cost estimating information.Must have expertise in assisting a Program Management Office with financial management and operations tasks in support of a DoD contract.Preferred Qualifications:Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office productsKnowledge of DoD/USMC business processes and support to operational best practices.Clearance Required: Must have a current / active DoD Top Secret / SCI Clearance.Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work.
The projected compensation range for this position is $88,200.00-$147,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, MANTECH invests in its employees beyond just compensation.
