Failure Analysis Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled technician to support and maintain daily laboratory functions with a focus on pinpointing the underlying causes of failures in electronic and hardware devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and manage failure analysis instruments to facilitate laboratory workflows.
• Perform electrical and physical failure investigations to uncover and resolve issues.
• Participate in the development and refinement of analysis procedures and methods.
• Safely conduct chemical handling processes following the usage of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possess Higher NITEC or Diploma in Engineering specializing in Electrical, Electronics, or related disciplines.
• Strong analytical mindset combined with effective problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of working autonomously, prioritizing responsibilities, and adhering to set deadlines.
• Willingness and flexibility to undertake mid-shift hours, weekend duties, and overtime work as needed.

Preferred Experience and Expertise

• Practical experience operating within laboratory or technical environments.
• Understanding of mobile phone hardware, computer parts, and general electronics.
• Familiarity with various testing methods and technical procedures.
