Facility Manager

About the Role

The Facility Manager will ensure seamless daily operations across building services, spaces, suppliers, systems, and workflows. This position is pivotal to maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized environment for residents, coworkers, guests, and event participants at The Community.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the operational execution and daily performance of The Community facilities.
• Coordinate and manage outsourced service providers, including cleaning, maintenance, security, IT, and technical teams.
• Manage check-ins and check-outs and support event logistics effectively.
• Ensure the proper use of management and booking systems along with access control technology.
• Quickly resolve operational concerns and escalate issues as needed while preserving service quality.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and operational consistency in the facility.

Experience & Skills Required

• More than five years' experience in facilities management or related fields such as hospitality, serviced apartments, residential operations, coworking, coliving, or hotel management.
• Strong expertise in building operations, supplier liaison, and maintenance workflows.
• Experience handling operational requests, complaints, and incident management.
• Proficient use of management software, booking systems, access control, and facility management tools.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, adept at multitasking and coordinating multiple priorities efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to maintain composure and control under pressure.
• Knowledge of health, safety, access, and service quality standards.

Desirable Additional Experience

• Familiarity with Dubai/UAE market.
• Experience working in pre-opening or startup operational environments.
• Background in coworking, coliving, serviced apartments, or lifestyle hospitality sectors.
• Technical insight into smart building technologies, PMS, access control, and facility management platforms.
