Role Overview
We are seeking a meticulous Facilities/Housekeeping Specialist responsible for ensuring all Stella Stays units meet rigorous cleanliness and quality benchmarks. This role involves inspecting units, addressing any discrepancies, overseeing preventive maintenance, coordinating corrective measures, and compiling comprehensive reports to support exceptional operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform frequent inspections to guarantee that units maintain cleanliness and functionality aligned with Stella Stays’ expectations.
- Ensure amenities are sufficiently stocked and in excellent condition.
- Detect signs of wear and tear, facilitating timely preventive maintenance to preserve unit quality and durability.
- Identify maintenance or cleanliness problems and collaborate with appropriate teams to resolve them swiftly.
- Own the resolution of issues directly or escalate to relevant departments when necessary.
- Confirm all corrective actions are completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Document detailed inspection reports, complete with photographic evidence and notes outlining conditions, issues, and resolutions.
- Provide regular, actionable reports to headquarters with insights and recommendations to maintain high standards.
- Work closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and operations teams to uphold superior quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to company policies regarding cleanliness, safety, and aesthetics.
- Stay informed about Stella Stays’ standards to guarantee all units consistently meet brand requirements.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated experience in housekeeping, facilities management, or related roles within hospitality.
- Sharp attention to detail coupled with a strong dedication to maintaining quality.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and relevant tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Competence in using reporting software and fundamental computer applications.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel between units and accommodate varying work schedules as necessary.
