Executive Director (General Manager)

Overview

Sonata Coconut Creek, part of AgeWell Solvere Living, is an Assisted Living and Memory Care community based in Coconut Creek, Florida. We are seeking a dedicated Executive Director (General Manager) with solid leadership experience in senior living operations to lead our community. This role involves overseeing day-to-day management, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering outstanding resident care.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain all aspects of community functions including financial management and business planning.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations and policies.
• Manage staff recruitment, training, evaluation, and discipline to promote a motivated and effective team.
• Maintain accurate financial reports, control budgets, and maximize occupancy and revenue streams.
• Champion quality assurance programs and prepare community for regulatory inspections.
• Facilitate strong communication between residents, families, staff, and leadership.
• Lead marketing efforts, community outreach, and sales activities with the goal of occupancy maximization.
• Enforce safety protocols including OSHA regulations and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• Mandatory state licensing and certification for assisted living facility management if applicable.
• Proven experience leading in senior living or related environments with strong customer service orientation.
• Competence with Microsoft Office and relevant industry technology tools.
• Demonstrated leadership, integrity, and passion for serving seniors.
• Physical capability to perform job demands, including lifting 40-50 pounds and standing for long periods.
• Willingness to travel at least 30% to engage referral sources in the market.
