About the Role and Team
Main Street represents The Walt Disney Company’s inaugural company-wide creative agency, uniting marketing experts from across Disney’s diverse businesses—including entertainment, sports, experiences, and consumer products—into one collaborative agency structure. This model aims to harness collective creative power through teamwork, a shared mission, and unified brand storytelling.
The Creative Operations group within Main Street functions as the operational foundation that supports the execution of ambitious creative projects. Led by the SVP, Creative Operations, this team encompasses roles in project management, post production, finishing, traffic, media workflow, and data operations.
We are seeking an Executive Assistant passionate about understanding large-scale creative workflows, energized by complex tasks, and eager to leverage this position as a growth opportunity to gain deep insights into a major creative organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and manage a busy and intricate calendar for the SVP, anticipating scheduling conflicts, safeguarding preparation time, and ensuring optimal meeting readiness
- Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics efficiently while handling expense reports with precision and timeliness
- Compose, review, and distribute communications on behalf of the SVP, ranging from company-wide announcements to interactions with senior executives
- Oversee the inflow and outflow of information to the SVP’s office, applying discernment to escalate or directly address matters
- Act as a liaison across Main Street's large, geographically dispersed team spanning various functional areas
- Establish and maintain trusted relations with other executive assistants, department heads, and leaders throughout the organization and broader Disney enterprise
- Help organize and coordinate key events including all-hands meetings, leadership retreats, and team gatherings, managing logistics, materials, and event timelines
- Monitor follow-up on action items and decisions from critical meetings to ensure organizational accountability
- Attend pertinent meetings, take comprehensive notes, and distill essential information for appropriate distribution
- Assist in preparing presentations and briefing materials tailored for senior leadership audiences
- Keep abreast of organizational priorities and proactively inform the SVP about significant developments
- Contribute to special projects as needed, embracing opportunities to go beyond conventional duties in a fast-moving environment
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in a dynamic, matrixed setting such as entertainment, media, technology, or related fields
- Excellent written communication capabilities, able to write succinctly and appropriately for different audiences and situations
- Strong organizational skills focused on creating efficient systems rather than merely handling tasks
- Sound judgment with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly at the senior executive level
- Comfortable navigating ambiguous situations without a rigid roadmap, adapting quickly to changing needs
- Highly proactive mindset, anticipating requirements and taking initiative independently
- Proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office suite, and various calendar and scheduling software
Preferred Attributes
- Experience supporting executives at Vice President level or higher
- Familiarity with environments related to creative production, post production, or marketing operations
- A genuine curiosity about the workings of major media organizations, spanning content strategy and technical infrastructure
- Possession of an undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience
