About The Role
Are you highly experienced in providing support to senior executives and known for maintaining composure under pressure? Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI) offers a unique Executive Support Professional position within The Walt Disney Company that might suit you perfectly. This role involves being a vital member of a fast-paced and dynamic team dedicated to delivering the iconic Disney experience to guests worldwide.
In this specific position, you'll support two Executive Directors overseeing the Disney Cruise Line Portfolio and their respective WDI teams. Your responsibilities include anticipating needs, managing priorities efficiently, meeting deadlines, and demonstrating initiative with professionalism and confidentiality.
This is a four-year fixed-term contract requiring onsite presence at the London Hammersmith office four days weekly.
About The Team
Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI) leads the creative efforts behind Disney theme parks, resorts, attractions, and cruise ships globally. Integrating storytelling, art, science, and technology, WDI crafts immersive environments and innovative entertainment experiences for families around the world.
The UK branch is expanding its project design and execution team in London to spearhead new developments for Disney Cruise Line. Joining means contributing to a growing team dedicated to delivering multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage calendars, coordinate complex meetings, and ensure timely communication.
- Prepare and submit expense reports promptly using Concur.
- Organize meetings including large presentations and video conferences across multiple sites.
- Plan and coordinate business travel logistics and itineraries, considering factors like time zones and potential delays.
- Interact effectively with senior executives, their support teams, and external partners.
- Review schedules to allocate sufficient time for rest and travel between engagements.
- Strategically manage priorities by directing communications and adjusting meetings as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information, respecting Disney's status as a publicly traded company.
- Provide additional office support such as ordering supplies and handling purchase approvals.
- Coordinate departmental off-sites and events as needed.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience supporting senior executives or equivalent roles.
- Demonstrated professionalism and business savvy in demanding environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong abilities in preparing presentations using PowerPoint, Keynote, and Adobe suite tools.
- Eagerness to fully understand and engage in the executive's business.
- Ability to multitask and set priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe software.
- Exceptional composure during unexpected situations.
- Trustworthiness in handling highly confidential information.
- Proactive and willing to go beyond assigned duties to support leaders and colleagues.
- Flexible schedule accommodating occasional extended hours, with emphasis on work-life balance.
- Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
Preferred Experience
- Background in architecture, design, or construction industries.
- Experience working in creative or design studio settings.
