Work Schedule and Compensation
This full-time role operates on the third shift from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The hourly pay rate is $24.17, with an additional $1.00 per hour shift differential.

Responsibilities
- Report to the Maintenance Supervisor at the Macon, MO facility.
- Perform troubleshooting, removal, installation, replacement, rebuilding, repairing, and testing of parts and components on plant and production machinery.
- Maintain mechanical equipment in good operational condition.
- Inspect machines to identify and rectify problems, including replacing faulty parts and adjusting equipment to ensure smooth production processes.
- Utilize technical manuals and diagrams to aid in equipment troubleshooting and repair.
- Operate hand and power tools for mechanical repairs and maintenance.
- Conduct electrical and pneumatic work on production machines.
- Apply skills in welding, electrical work, and fabrication as required.
- Be prepared to work extended shifts and possibly seven days a week.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 2 years of progressive mechanic experience in manufacturing or production settings.
- Vocational or technical training focused on machine maintenance.
- Ability to lift and push/pull up to 100 pounds.
- Proficiency in reading and writing English to complete production and quality documentation.
- Basic arithmetic skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages.
- Familiarity with basic shop equipment, electric arc welding, plasma cutting, torches, and hand tools.
- Electrical experience is necessary.
