Role Overview

MotifTales is looking for a meticulous and dependable Home-Based Data Entry Clerk to join our growing team remotely. This entry-level full-time role is critical to ensuring seamless e-commerce operations by accurately managing customer orders, inventory, and logistics information.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately entering and verifying customer order details, shipping information, and customized design requests into the digital e-commerce system.
• Maintaining up-to-date stock records for apparel, dyes, and printing supplies through internal tracking sheets.
• Organizing shipment tracking numbers, vendor receipts, and delivery documentation to assist fulfillment and logistics teams.
• Conducting quality checks on database entries by identifying inconsistencies, correcting errors, and removing duplicates.
• Communicating across teams, including customer support and production, to resolve missing order details and inventory discrepancies.

Job Requirements

• Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent, with no prior data entry experience necessary as comprehensive training is provided.
• Proficient and rapid typing skills combined with foundational knowledge of Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, or other web database platforms.
• Strong attention to detail regarding accuracy, punctuation, and numeric data recording.
• Possession of a reliable computer, fast internet connection, and quiet home workspace.
• Organized self-starter capable of meeting daily data entry targets independently.
