Technical Context
- The primary agentic environment is Claude Code, which integrates planned autonomous agent operation with engineer oversight and accountability.
- Technology stacks vary by team mission and may include legacy Java and MS SQL architectures being modernized.
- Modern technologies in use include Python, TypeScript, Vue, Postgres, Azure, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code with Terraform.
- Engineering practices involve cloud-native, service-oriented designs with an emphasis on agent-based tooling and workflows.
First Year Goals
- Ensure your teams consistently meet their roadmap goals, improving throughput, quality, and system stability.
- Establish and maintain clear, rigorous technical standards that raise the engineering bar.
- Demonstrate measurable growth in team members, including development into higher roles.
- Integrate AI-native engineering workflows as a normal practice, contributing patterns and evaluation strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

- Strong technical expertise in one or more relevant domains (front-end, middleware, back-end, data, platform) with a hands-on approach to technical leadership.
- Current experience practicing AI-native software development methodologies (such as Claude Code) with demonstrable contributions.
- Skilled in talent development and making challenging personnel decisions.
- Adept at communicating clearly and navigating ambiguity and legacy systems.
Preferred Qualifications
