Take charge of high-quality commercial electrical projects from inception to completion by joining one of Auckland's premier electrical contractors. Role Summary

The Electrical Project Manager will oversee projects from award through to successful delivery. Collaborate closely with clients, site personnel, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are conducted safely, efficiently, punctually, and to the high standards Aotea upholds.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead projects across all lifecycle stages
  • Examine project plans, specifications, and contractual obligations
  • Create and manage project schedules, milestones, and resource allocations
  • Procure necessary materials, tools, and subcontractor services
  • Track budget, expenses, and overall project performance metrics
  • Prepare progress claims, forecasting reports, and update stakeholders
  • Manage project scope changes and contractual variations
  • Coordinate labour, subcontractors, suppliers, and support services
  • Develop and nurture strong client partnerships
  • Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and legal regulations
  • Provide operational support to site teams for successful project completion

  • Valid New Zealand Electrical Registration
  • Demonstrated project management or supervisory leadership experience
  • Background in electrical contracting and construction environments
