Econometrician - AI Trainer

About the Position

We seek quantitative professionals skilled in data and model analysis to contribute to AI model training. In this role, you will collaborate with advanced AI systems, assessing AI-generated quantitative analyses, addressing technical challenges, and offering feedback that shapes AI reasoning regarding data and scientific inquiries. Professionals from diverse quantitative disciplines—including data science, astrophysics, economics, biostatistics, and operations research—are encouraged to apply. This position can be managed part-time alongside other engagements or as a primary occupation.

Key Duties

• Assess AI-generated quantitative outputs—statistical analyses, predictive models, scientific reasoning, and data insights—for technical accuracy and practical relevance
• Create and solve quantitative challenges for AI training and evaluation, including forecasting, experimental design, optimization, and inference tasks
• Compose precise technical documentation and produce well-structured analytical code
• Provide constructive feedback to enhance the effectiveness of upcoming AI models in quantitative reasoning

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in quantitative roles or research in fields such as data science, statistics, economics, finance, physics, biology, epidemiology, or operations research
• Competency in coding with the ability to write and critique analytical scripts independently
• Applied knowledge of statistical techniques, predictive analytics, experimental methods (including A/B tests, hypothesis testing, regression, classification, and time series forecasting)
• Proficiency in English at native or nearly native levels, with excellent written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative disciplines like Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering preferred; graduate degrees advantageous
• Additional certifications or achievements such as Kaggle rankings or cloud-based ML certifications add value
