DTP Operator

About the Role

Ajaymeru Publication is seeking a skilled Hindi DTP Operator with proficiency in typing educational books, especially in Science and Mathematics subjects. The candidate should have capabilities in formula and equation typing, book setting, page layout, cover designing, and preparing final print-ready files.

Key Responsibilities

• Speedy and accurate typing using MS Word.
• Typing and formatting educational books related to Science, Mathematics, and other subjects.
• Typing mathematical formulas, equations, symbols, tables, and charts.
• Complete book setting and page layout creation.
• Producing final, error-free files for printing.
• Designing book covers and making necessary edits using CorelDRAW.
• Organizing chapters, titles, page numbers, and table of contents.
• Implementing corrections and modifications as directed by the editorial team in a timely manner.
• Creating diagrams, images, and graphics whenever required.
• Proofreading and correcting errors.
• Maintaining organized file storage and backups.
• Coordinating effectively with printing and editorial departments.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in Hindi Unicode typing with high speed and accuracy.
• Experience in typing Science and Mathematics content.
• Knowledge of typing mathematical formulas and equations.
• Good command of CorelDRAW for cover designing.
• Experience in book setting and page design.
• Basic familiarity with MS Word and PDF handling.
• Understanding of printing and publication processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a publication house.
• Experience working on competitive exam, university, board, or study materials publications.
• Ability to independently manage the entire book production process.
• Priority will be given to candidates with strong background in Science and Math typing, formula typing, book setting, CorelDRAW, and cover designing.
