Driver Cum Office Boy

Job Overview

This multifaceted role requires handling three core duties: serving as a personal driver for elderly family members, performing local delivery tasks for Paperdew Ventures in Indore, and managing office assistant responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive elderly family members safely to social events, family gatherings, hospitals, and other necessary locations, with occasional responsibility for transporting children.
• On occasion, escort elderly passengers by car up to a village located approximately 350 km from Indore, returning by bus afterwards. The vehicle is privately owned by the family or company.
• Ensure all driving is conducted safely and calmly; rough or reckless driving is strictly prohibited.
• Maintain flexible driving hours including mornings, evenings, nights, and festival days as needed.
• Deliver company packages, cartons, and packed goods within Indore using personal two-wheeler; fuel expenses during deliveries will be reimbursed per company policy.
• In absence of delivery duties, manage office operations including organizing and shifting cartons and boxes, maintaining office cleanliness, and caring for indoor plants regularly.

Working Hours and Leave Policy

• Office and delivery shifts run from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM fixed hours.
• Personal driver duties have variable hours based on family needs, requiring flexibility.
• One weekly day off will be granted, mutually decided after interview; Sundays are not guaranteed off due to possible social/family events requiring elderly members’ attendance.

Travel and Expense Policy

• Fuel costs for two-wheeler used in delivery assigned by company reimbursement rules.
• Bus fare for return from village trip post-driving to be covered by company/family.

Eligibility Criteria

• Male candidates aged between 20 to 40 years.
• Possession of a valid four-wheeler driving license is mandatory.
• Must own a personal two-wheeler vehicle.
• Residence within a 5–6 kilometer radius of Mahalaxmi Nagar, Indore.
• Demonstrated safe, calm, and disciplined driving; applications with rough driving habits will be rejected.
• Must consent to police verification or submit a police verification certificate before appointment.
