Position Overview
We are seeking Driller Assistants to support our expanding Surface Drilling operations on a 2:1 FIFO roster based out of Perth, Western Australia. This role involves assisting drillers or drilling supervisors with various physically demanding tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of drill rigs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily pre-start safety and equipment inspections.
- Assist in mixing drilling fluids, muds, chemicals, and cement.
- Help load and unload heavy equipment and assist with rig setup.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in physically demanding roles; offsider experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Hold or be working towards an HR-B or HR Unrestricted Drivers License.
- Possess a current C Class Manual Driver's License.
- Ability to successfully complete pre-employment medicals, including drug and alcohol screening and a full functional assessment.
- Hold or be able to obtain a National Police Clearance dated within the last six months.
- Currently residing in Western Australia.
