2 Hour Learning seeks an accomplished academic leader who has established clear educational visions and demonstrated leadership by owning outcomes. This role requires someone who moves beyond theory and experimentation to build validated, impactful learning systems. The ideal candidate will standardize academic execution across diverse school settings, raise leadership quality, and represent our evidence-based learning movement publicly.

Key Responsibilities

• Create academic frameworks that translate learning science into practical guidance for curriculum, student engagement, and educational technology design.
• Perform academic performance evaluations alongside Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability, and measurable academic success.
• Utilize data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and observational insights to assess challenges in accelerated learning and recommend pertinent improvements.
• Maintain strategic coherence via structured planning, continuous feedback, and benchmarking learning progress.
• Act as the public face of 2 Hour Learning in major forums, delivering keynotes and engaging with national education authorities to promote our AI-driven personalized learning approach.

Scope of Work

This position focuses on visionary leadership rather than participating in isolated curriculum projects, theoretical research without measurable impact, delegating accountability, or relying exclusively on institutional prestige to persuade audiences.

Candidate Requirements

• Advanced qualification (Master's or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years in academic or EdTech leadership with direct responsibility for staffing decisions, performance management, and team coaching.
• Proven experience enhancing student learning outcomes and maintaining academic standards.
• Practical experience applying AI or emerging technologies to education, including personalized or adaptive learning solutions.
• Leadership experience managing academic teams of over 50 personnel involved in curriculum, instruction, or assessments.
• Direct professional interaction with students, educators, or school leaders.

Terms of Employment

• This is a full-time role corresponding to 40 hours weekly with a long-term, immediate start.
• The position operates under an independent contractor agreement facilitated by Crossover as the Contractor of Record.
• Compensation is $200 USD per hour, which translates to an annual salary of $400,000 USD based on 40 hours per week and 50 working weeks per year, paid weekly.
