Job Overview
This part-time role involves working 3-4 days weekly as a Digital Designer within the Web/IT team, reporting to the Senior Interactive Designer. The candidate will design and develop digital marketing materials that elevate awareness of Madman’s releases and engage appropriate audiences. A significant responsibility revolves around email marketing, requiring creation and development of versatile, reusable email templates and components, managing databases, and aiding in segmentation, automation, and audience journey mapping. Familiarity with Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor is a strong advantage.
Key Duties
- Create digital marketing assets such as graphics and short-form video content supporting brand and title campaigns across cinema, home entertainment, and DocPlay subscription services.
- Design and develop email marketing templates and campaigns within platforms like Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor.
- Maintain and design website content primarily through WordPress templates.
- Produce basic video editing for marketing purposes.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess 2 to 3 years’ experience in digital design.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
- Skilled with email marketing tools such as Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor, including analytics, segmentation, automation, and audience engagement strategies.
- Experience in producing digital marketing assets.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress preferred.
- Knowledge of wireframing and prototyping software such as Figma or Sketch is advantageous.
- Basic experience in web development languages including HTML, CSS (SASS), PHP, jQuery is a plus.
- Passion for film, arts, and media sectors.
- Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, with proven teamwork experience.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Graphic Design or Multimedia Marketing are desirable.
