Overview
FutureCare Associates, Inc. is seeking dedicated Dietary Aides/Porters to join our Food & Hospitality Department. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of nutritional services to our residents under the guidance of the Clinical Food Service Director. Your duties will emphasize food sanitation, proper handling, and compliance with established serving policies.

Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing both hot and cold meals.
- Deliver and serve food to residents as scheduled.
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas as assigned.
- Store food properly, respecting temperature controls and preventing spoilage.
- Transport food and beverages to designated residents.
- Support Lead Porter or staff with moving heavy kitchen equipment and supplies.
- Operate the dishwashing machine efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate levels of temperature, chemicals, and clean water for sanitation.
Qualifications
- Completion of High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or skilled nursing facility preferred.
- Strong communication abilities are essential.
- Maintain a courteous and friendly manner at all times.
- Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods, typically 8 hours or more.
- Physical ability to lift, push, or pull food carts and supplies up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrate tact, diplomacy, and respect when interacting with residents and colleagues.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
Salary Information
The hourly pay for this position ranges from $15.70 to $17.50. This base rate does not include potential bonuses or other incentives, which may be applied separately based on experience, location, qualifications, and certifications.
