Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and engineering efforts focused on mining products, ensuring projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Create and update 3D models and comprehensive drawings with SolidWorks.
• Develop production drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and related technical documentation.
• Review and verify 2D and 3D designs for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain design integrity and adhere to customer and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct design assessments, perform fundamental mechanical calculations, and validate drawings.
• Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost efficiency, and operational performance.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and quality teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Offer technical assistance to fabrication, assembly, and onsite teams, including troubleshooting support.
• Drive product standardization, ongoing improvements, and value engineering initiatives.
• Manage large assembly projects efficiently while ensuring data management and safety standards are upheld.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech or B.E.) is mandatory.
• Possess 7 to 11 years of experience designing and developing large industrial machinery.
• Strong proficiency with SolidWorks, including 3D modeling, detailed drawing, and assembly management.
• Good understanding of mining machinery such as thickeners, clarifiers, and thickener drives.
• Familiarity with analysis software is advantageous.
• Comprehensive knowledge of product engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
• Well-versed in engineering standards and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Skilled at handling complex assemblies and managing design data effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in teams.
