Role Overview

The position of Design Engineer - Primary focuses on leading the design and execution of primary engineering tasks related to substation projects on a global scale. This role demands in-depth knowledge and experience in substation layout planning and primary system design.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, review, and execute primary engineering activities specific to substation projects across various international locations.
• Drive detailed design efforts including substation layouts both AIS (Air Insulated Switchgear) and GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear).
• Select and appropriately size electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, current transformers (CTs), potential transformers (PTs), isolators, and other primary power components.

Candidate Requirements

• Robust experience in primary substation engineering encompassing layout design and equipment specification.
• Strong foundation in electrical engineering principles related to power transmission and distribution.
• Educational qualification of B.Tech or B.E. in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
