Role Overview
As a Design Coordinator based in Maynooth, Co. Kildare, you will collaborate with the Design Manager and the broader project team to oversee the design process from pre-construction through project completion. Your efforts will ensure that design activities align with programme milestones and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate design information across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
- Manage design deliverables to meet schedule deadlines.
- Review drawings to detect design conflicts or constructability issues.
- Engage with consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
- Support the Design Manager during design and construction phases.
- Ensure adherence to client specifications, Irish Building Regulations, and project standards.
- Participate in design team meetings and provide ongoing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
Candidate Profile
- Experience as a Design Coordinator, Assistant Design Manager, or Design Engineer within a main contracting environment.
- Prior involvement in industrial, pharmaceutical, logistics, or data centre projects is highly desirable.
- Comprehensive understanding of construction methodologies and design coordination practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Proactive mindset capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
- Relevant educational background in construction or engineering disciplines.
