Deputy Store Manager

Role overview

Alshaya Group is hiring a Deputy Store Manager for the ULTA Beauty launch in Qatar. The role is focused on supporting store leadership, lifting team performance, and helping deliver a standout customer experience from the very beginning of the store’s operation.

Working side by side with the Store Manager, you will help guide sales delivery, strengthen service standards, and keep daily operations running smoothly. The position calls for a hands-on leader who can coach teams on the shop floor, maintain high retail standards, and contribute to building an attractive beauty destination for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in meeting sales targets, service standards, and operational objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop store colleagues to improve productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Make sure customers consistently receive a high-quality service experience.
• Work with other departments to ensure the store operates efficiently every day.
• Share observations and feedback on team performance, product performance, and customer behaviour.
• Help with hiring, onboarding, and continuous training and development of staff.
• Take over store leadership responsibilities when the Store Manager is unavailable.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate will bring at least 3 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Backgrounds in beauty, cosmetics, health and beauty, or premium retail are especially relevant.

Strong leadership ability, people-management skills, and a genuine focus on customer service and commercial results are important for success in this role. Good organizational ability and confidence using computers are also required.

English fluency is essential, and Arabic language skills will be considered an advantage.
