Deputy Director, Transformation

We invite a dynamic individual to join our Digital Transformation Team as Deputy Director, fostering impactful connections between workers and employers via job matching, career guidance, and upskilling initiatives. In this capacity, you will spearhead enterprise-wide transformation, automation, and innovation projects aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness and service delivery.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead adoption of best practices in project management, change management, implementation methods, and ensure integration of Security-by-Design principles.
• Manage comprehensive IT project lifecycles including requirements analysis, viability studies, solution architecture, scalability assessment, deployment, and post-implementation support utilizing frameworks such as PMP or PRINCE2.
• Oversee vendor relationships and service agreements to guarantee fulfillment of contracts and milestones.
• Maintain thorough and current project, technical, and governance documentation.
• Facilitate communication with stakeholders to align expectations, resolve problems, and nurture collaboration.
• Conduct procurement processes including RFPs, RFQs, and tenders encompassing specification creation, evaluation, approvals, and contract finalization.
• Advise business units on continuous process improvements and innovative solution design.
• Identify and implement risk management approaches across projects and transformation efforts.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on project status, risks, results, and key performance indicators.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, with 13 to 15 years relevant experience.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing end-to-end projects, including process and solution design, documentation, and procurement.
• Familiarity with data warehousing, data cleansing, and application design or implementation is advantageous.
• Experience in co-creating and executing end-to-end value-driven initiatives.
• Strong systemic and big-picture thinking complemented by acute attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and comprehension abilities.
• Effective written and spoken communication skills.
• Customer-oriented with adeptness in conflict management.
• Self-driven, innovative, capable of managing multiple priorities in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle stressful situations gracefully.
