Core Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety in classrooms, entryways, hallways, stairwells, elevators, and communal spaces through janitorial duties.
• Sanitize bathrooms, sinks, floors, commodes, and replenish restroom supplies as required.
• Dispose of trash, empty wastebaskets, and remove any graffiti.
• Utilize cleaning products safely while following all relevant safety protocols.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or needs for cleaning supplies to supervisors promptly.
• Adhere to infection control and hand hygiene procedures to sustain sanitary conditions.
• Consistently meet customer service and cleaning quality standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Candidate Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles within commercial environments favored.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
• Commitment to performing routine tasks with consistency.
• Capable of completing assigned duties independently following training.
• Dependable and punctual for scheduled shifts.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for 6 to 8 hours per day.
• Strength to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working with food products and cleaning chemicals.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination requirements as applicable by law or customer policy.
• Willingness to undergo a criminal background check.
