Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee organizational databases to guarantee their availability, security, reliability, and data accuracy.
- Carry out routine database tasks such as backups, restoration, access controls, and monitoring of performance.
- Create and update SQL queries, scripts, stored procedures, and authorized data extracts as needed.
- Diagnose and resolve database issues, coordinating efforts with internal teams or external vendors when necessary.
- Administer daily operations of the Core Banking System, ensuring smooth functionality.
- Configure Core Banking System components including products, parameters, workflows, user roles, and other authorized settings.
- Investigate and address system incidents, transaction discrepancies, data anomalies, and user-reported difficulties.
- Assist with system updates, integrations, testing phases, and rollouts of approved changes.
- Provide support to users and business units on Core Banking System usage and operational needs.
- Facilitate the preparation of reports, audits, regulatory filings, and management information.
- Collaborate closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to enhance system performance and troubleshoot technical problems.
- Document system configurations, database procedures, scripts, alterations, and operational protocols thoroughly.
- Ensure strict adherence to organizational policies, security standards, and change management protocols for all database and system activities.
