About the Role

This full-time Data Specialist position is remotely based and involves managing and ensuring the quality of datasets used for training and evaluating AI systems. The specialist will handle verification and refinement of human-labeled data, helping improve annotation processes and pipeline accuracy in machine learning projects.

Key Responsibilities

Verify and validate human-annotated data to maintain high accuracy and consistency for AI training sets
Detect and correct inconsistencies in data labels by comparing them with original sources and guidelines
Work closely with multiple teams to update annotation protocols and enhance data quality benchmarks
Track and analyze data labeling performance metrics to monitor quality and identify improvement areas
Document working procedures, labeling standards, and quality control measures comprehensively

Required Qualifications and Skills

Prior experience in data annotation, labeling, or quality assurance processes is preferred
Strong attention to detail and familiarity with basic data validation methods
Ability to follow structured protocols to ensure uniform data handling
Basic knowledge of AI and machine learning principles, emphasizing the role of quality training data
Competence in using spreadsheet or data management software for organizing and tracking datasets
