About the Role
This position is for a Customer Marketing Manager located in the United States, offering a fully remote work arrangement. Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive customer lifecycle marketing plans aimed at increasing product usage, uncovering expansion possibilities, and strengthening engagement.
- Manage customer email communications, including newsletters, feature updates, adoption initiatives, and targeted upsell campaigns.
- Create and refine onboarding programs to speed up customer realization of value and encourage early product adoption.
- Organize and oversee customer webinars, including planning content strategy, coordinating speakers, promoting events, executing live sessions, and following up with participants.
- Form and facilitate a Customer Advisory Board by recruiting members, managing meetings, and translating feedback into business growth opportunities.
- Develop customer advocacy campaigns involving testimonials, case studies, customer narratives, and video materials.
- Coordinate customer reference programs to link sales efforts with suitable advocates.
- Identify and promote opportunities for customers to speak at webinars, conferences, and relevant industry events.
- Lead community-building initiatives that boost customer interaction and foster peer support among users.
- Administer review generation efforts across platforms like G2, Gartner Peer Insights, and other relevant channels.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to align customer-based insights with market strategies.
- Analyze and report on campaign effectiveness, correlating marketing activities with outcomes such as revenue growth, retention rates, and customer satisfaction metrics.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated experience managing customer marketing, advocacy, or lifecycle marketing programs in a B2B SaaS context.
- Proven track record in developing and handling customer communications, webinars, case studies, reference initiatives, and engagement campaigns.
- Deep knowledge of the role customer marketing plays in boosting retention, revenue expansion, and customer success.
- Exceptional storytelling and writing capabilities to convert customer experiences into engaging marketing content.
- Strong relationship-building skills with customers and cross-functional internal teams including Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Marketing.
- Effective project management expertise with the capacity to juggle multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
- Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools, especially HubSpot; Salesforce experience is advantageous.
- Insight into customer lifecycle strategies and post-sale engagement planning.
- Robust analytical aptitude for tracking campaign performance against business objectives.
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools to automate workflows and improve marketing efficiency.
- Preferred interest or experience in compliance-related, regulated industries or technology-centric solutions.
