Work Location and Hours
This position is based in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada, requiring 15 hours per week onsite.
Role Summary
As a Customer Experience Associate within Personal & Commercial Banking, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional service with every customer interaction and supporting the branch's overall customer experience enhancements. Your daily tasks involve handling various financial transactions accurately and efficiently, resolving customer concerns, and recommending appropriate solutions or products suited to customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance customer satisfaction at every opportunity.
- Execute a variety of financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and bill payments with precision.
- Address customer inquiries and issues, escalating when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
- Identify customer requirements and suggest suitable banking products and services within a limited portfolio.
- Promote the bank’s products and services to meet advice goals and contribute to business objectives.
- Adhere to operational policies and procedures, supporting business process accuracy and timeliness.
- Help identify and implement process improvement initiatives within the branch.
- Conduct due diligence to ensure all customer activities are accurate and compliant with internal standards and the Bank Code of Conduct.
- Collaborate effectively within the team to maintain a positive work environment and support continuous learning and development.
- Contribute to a diverse, fair, and inclusive workplace culture and act as a representative of the bank’s brand internally and externally.
- Understand how individual tasks integrate into team goals and customer service strategies.
- Follow established customer service and advice procedures, recommending improvements where suitable.
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School diploma.
- Preferred: Post-secondary education or undergraduate degree in a related field.
- At least one year of relevant experience in customer service or banking.
