About the Role
This position involves providing home delivery services to customers, predominantly within the Norwich area. The working schedule consists of specific availability windows during which shifts will be assigned, with a minimum guaranteed 16 hours per week, flexible down to 12 hours if preferred. Scheduled hours will be communicated at least three weeks in advance. Flexibility around the listed availability is welcomed.

- Sunday: 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- Tuesday: 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- Wednesday: 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 1:30 PM to 11:00 PM
Role Overview
Serving as a Customer Delivery Driver means not just transporting goods but also representing the company’s commitment to excellent customer service, engaging with customers during deliveries, and ensuring satisfaction. The job is active and varied, involving both driving and customer interaction, with support from a management team when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery van and trays.
- Keep the yard area clean and litter-free.
- Participate in washing trays as part of the standard process.
- Load the delivery vehicle appropriately and perform safety and roadworthiness checks.
- Communicate with customers regarding any amendments to their orders, substitutions, or refund issues courteously.
- Handle products carefully ensuring their condition throughout delivery.
- Inform customers that substitutions will not incur additional charges.
- Deliver orders within their designated time slots.
- Notify customers by phone if arriving earlier than scheduled.
- Contact the store if running 30 minutes or more behind schedule.

- Must hold a full UK/EU/EEA driving license (manual or automatic) with a clean record and fewer than three penalty points, held for at least 12 months.
- Compliance with GB domestic driving regulations is mandatory.

The hourly wage starts at £14.18 outside the M25 area and goes up to £15.45 within the M25, with additional location-based payments possible.
