Curriculum Specialist for AI-Enhanced 2-Hour Learning Program (Remote)

Overview

This position supports a revolutionary educational model aimed at condensing a full day's academic curriculum into two focused hours using AI data analysis and personalized coaching. As a key strategist, you will use extensive AI-generated student performance data to guide learners towards mastering content at a 90% proficiency level or higher and continuously evolve the program's methodology.

Primary Responsibilities

• Generate detailed Academic Data Reports with precision to diagnose learning issues, detect anomalies swiftly, and implement solutions within 48 hours.
• Conduct prompt intervention calls and provide coaching sessions after assessments to remove barriers, differentiate true knowledge gaps from errors, and maintain strong student engagement.
• Evaluate and integrate innovative educational tools and materials, developing AI and large language model (LLM) prototypes to refine teaching techniques and tackle specific learning challenges.
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance analytic tools, dashboards, and mastery benchmarks as the AI tutor system is refined.

Exclusions

• No participation in lengthy meetings without direct engagement with learning outcomes.
• Not responsible for traditional duties like grading, lesson planning, or managing conventional programs; the role is rooted in AI-backed innovation.
• Hands-on execution role, avoiding narrowly focused or repetitive tasks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated background in data science or related roles in education, EdTech, or student support blending analysis and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Google Sheets particularly functions such as lookups, pivot tables, and filtering.
• Strong emotional intelligence and communication skills combined with a coaching style oriented towards students.
• Experience designing AI-driven workflows and automations.
• At least one year of experience working directly with K-8 students.
• Availability to work core hours from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Central Time, Monday through Friday.

Preferred Skills

• Background in learning science or educational theory with proven success improving outcomes through data-centered strategies.
• Knowledge of generative AI, prompt engineering, and basic programming skills (Python, JavaScript) for AI API interactions.

Additional Information

This role is a full-time, long-term contract requiring 40 hours per week. It offers $30 USD per hour, totaling approximately $60,000 USD annually based on 50 working weeks. Payment is disbursed weekly. The position is immediately available and engagement is under an independent contractor agreement.
