About the Role
Join COS as a Creative Manager on a 12-month contract based at our London Head Office. You will collaborate directly with the Design Director, spearheading the development and delivery of seasonal colour and print themes based on insights from fashion, art, design, and competitor analysis. Your work will drive trend-led strategies and consistently inspire collections aligned with the brand's creative vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide visionary and strategic leadership to the design team and other COS functions, ensuring cohesion with the brand's goals and future direction.
- Oversee management of seasonal creative direction, from research to final output, adhering tightly to the design calendar deadlines.
- Lead the formulation of seasonal colour and print palettes by analyzing trends in fashion, art, design, and competitor movements to deliver impactful and forward-looking content.
- Collaborate closely with design, buying, and production teams to embed trend insights into collections, maintaining consistency and relevance across departments.
- Supervise and foster growth within the creative team focused on colour and trend, including recruitment, performance management, and nurturing creativity with high standards.
- Distill complex trend research into clear, actionable insights and deliver them through seasonal workshops and presentations to ensure understanding and implementation across the business.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Proven substantial experience in a senior role focused on creative research or trend forecasting within the fashion industry, either in-house or agency environments.
- Ability to translate brand vision into innovative, trend-driven creative strategies combining cultural insights and commercial sensibilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in both long-term and short-term trend forecasting, with a strong focus on elevating colour and print direction.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration to ensure creative visions are executed throughout design, buying, and production.
- Strong leadership capabilities to build and maintain a highly engaged and performance-oriented team culture fostering creativity and accountability.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, capable of presenting persuasive ideas that influence and align diverse stakeholders.

This is a full-time, 12-month temporary contract role located at COS Head Office in London.
