Role Overview

This position seeks an experienced Creative Designer responsible for producing impactful visual graphics and multimedia content across various communication channels. The role involves maintaining brand consistency, collaborating with print vendors, and enhancing online user interfaces alongside the Experience Designer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design captivating graphics for internal and external materials such as presentations, infographics, and promotional content.
• Partner with print professionals to create press-ready artwork adhering to production and brand standards.
• Work collaboratively to sustain a consistent and cohesive brand visual identity across all outputs.
• Contribute to layout and design for both print and digital assets.
• Create multimedia content tailored for diverse platforms ensuring creativity and high quality.
• Engage in ideation sessions to offer fresh concepts improving visuals and user experiences.
• Assist in revamping digital spaces by developing user-friendly interfaces and content enhancements.
• Collaborate with Experience Designer to strategize, wireframe, and prototype new online features.
• Guarantee alignment of all design tasks with brand guidelines and organizational goals.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated track record as a Graphic Designer supported by a comprehensive design portfolio.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint).
• Sound grasp of design fundamentals including typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
• Strong attention to aesthetic details and visual precision.
• Capability to juggle multiple projects and adhere to deadlines, occasionally in fast-paced settings.
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
• Possession of NV1 or higher Australian Government security clearance.

Desirable Attributes

• Familiarity with UX design principles and their practical application.
• Experience using wireframing and prototyping tools like Figma.
• Knowledge of responsive design methodologies and accessibility compliance.
• Understanding of CMS and web development workflows.

Additional Requirements

• Minimum four years of experience at a digital agency as Graphic or UI Designer.
• A portfolio highlighting key projects with clear articulation of roles, deliverables, and achievements.
• Effective verbal and written communication demonstrated throughout design phases.
• Ability to thrive in dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environments with a proactive approach.
• Experience driving design review processes independently.
• Proven capability collaborating within cross-functional teams to achieve multiple successful outcomes.
• Willingness to undertake international travel.
