Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead all sales initiatives within the local Ghana market, including identifying and securing new customers while nurturing ongoing relationships with international clients such as distributors, channel partners, project developers, EPC contractors, and wholesalers.
- Conduct frequent visits to customers and collaborate closely to create strategic business and product growth plans.
- Manage technical activities aligned with customer and project success by applying comprehensive product and system knowledge.
- Monitor and analyze trends in the solar photovoltaic market, competitor behavior, and customer feedback to devise and execute effective sales strategies, uncover improvement opportunities, and expand market reach.
- Represent GoodWe at industry-related events, conferences, and trade exhibitions to boost brand awareness and establish new client and partner connections.
- Promote continuous improvements in sales processes to increase organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Apply and enforce channel partner policies, resolve conflicts between stakeholders, and maintain compliance with company guidelines.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, ideally in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
- At least three years of verifiable experience in solar product sales within the photovoltaic sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in business development accompanied by strong negotiation abilities, excellent customer relationship skills, and adaptability to dynamic and competitive market conditions.
- Professional proficiency in English language communication.
- Experience selling in international markets and the ability to thrive within diverse, multicultural settings.
- Readiness to undertake domestic and international travel as necessary.
- Strong team collaboration skills combined with a proactive, motivated, and goal-oriented mindset.
